Anything is possible (Part 4)

“Belief
Makes things real
Makes things feel
Feel alright”

– Gavin DeGraw –

As promised, here is the fourth (and at the moment) final part of my Anything is possible blog post series. Yesterday in Part 3, I showed you how Darren and I have made friends with the cockatoos who live in the tree opposite our flat.

Today I will show you what happened when my beautiful friends Sasha came to visit us for the weekend from London. . . . .

After meeting him from the ferry and grabbing a green tea and having a chat on the beach in Manly we walked back to my flat. On the way we came across about 20 of the cockatoos all eating seeds from the trees on the ground close to our flat. He got super excited to see them and went over to take a photo and they flew away. I told him not to worry and that we would be able to feed them later, because they come to visit our balcony. I think he thought I was a little crazy, but I didn’t mind, because I knew the truth.

Sure enough a few hours after he had arrived and we had been drinking more tea in my living room and catching up, one cockatoo arrived on my balcony. We went outside with our container of organic almonds for them, and then an entire flock flew over to our balcony. There must have been about 14 birds with us and about another 7 sitting on the telephone wire next to our flat, eagerly watching.

Sasha got super excited (again) and happily fed them nuts. I told him that if he was calm, quiet and peaceful, and put a nut in his hand and outstretched his hand, one would sit on his arm. He did this immediately and sure enough, after a few minutes one came to sit on him. It was magical. Further proof that anything is possible if you desire it enough, if you believe, if you expect it to happen, if you visualise it, trust your imagination, you take the relevant action and you are congruent with the thing you desire to happen.

Here are the photos of what happened. . .

And here is some video footage too. He even managed to follow through on something Darren and I had set an intention to manifest. . . . he got to stroke one of them! So amazing. Considering they are wild birds.

And here is a video of a wonderful man called Kevin Richardson in South Africa who has made friends with lions and has been accepted into their pride as one of them.

So the final thought for this group of posts is. Anything is possible IF these 7 things occur

  1. You desire the thing to happen – without desire nothing happens.
  2. You believe the thing will happen – you need to connect with a deep feeling of knowing.
  3. You expect the thing to happen – you need to know that the thing you desire to happen WILL happen.
  4. You visualise the thing happening before it does
  5. You use your imagination – be creative with your thoughts
  6. You take action – you must follow through with what you say you’re going to do
  7. You are congruent with your desire – you actions and behaviours must be congruent with what you think and say. They must all go hand in hand.

So, as with the cockatoo example. I desired for us to feed them. I believed it would happen. I expected it to happen. I visualised it happening in my head before it happened. I used my imagination to create the idea of it happening. I took the relevant action when the bird appeared by taking nuts outside to the balcony and I was 100% congruent with my thoughts, words, actions and behaviour. And this people, is how you manifest.

So, the question today is, what you would like to manifest? Write your comments on this below, share your thoughts, goals, dreams and wishes and let us know how you get on with your manifesting.

Sending you lots of love, hugs and light,

“Anything is possible if you just believe.”

Walt Disney’s Pinocchio

Today is a very special day, as it is my 100th blog post. When I started my blog on 15th March earlier this year, I never thought I would be writing my 100th post so soon, but here it is! Thank you so much for reading.

Recently I watched the a fantastic TED talk by David Blaine about how he held his breath under water for 17 minutes. It truly is breathtaking. Yet another example of someone making the impossible possible.

In my blog post yesterday, Part 2 of Anything is possible, I talked about how Darren and I have been cultivating our relationship with the cockatoos that regularly come to visit our balcony for nuts.

Well, after I had told Darren that I had invited a Cocky to come and sit on my arm, he wanted to have the same experience too. And here’s what happened . . . .

And the most amazing thing. These are wild birds. Wild birds, who we have tamed by giving them love, kindness and food. Birds who trust us. Birds who know we only want to be their friends. Birds that are a true reflection of us as human beings. The moment we trusted that we wouldn’t be frightened of them, they weren’t frightened of us.

And this is what happens in life. The minute that you decide to show loving kindness and trust in others, it will be shown and reflected right back to you.

So, the question is, how can you show loving kindness to other human beings or other animals? And what would you like to manifest in return. We have been blessed with the most beautiful relationship with these birds, who we consider our friends. Wild birds that we initially thought it would be impossible to become close to. Further proof, that anything is possible if you put your mind to it and desire it enough.

Tune in tomorrow for Part 4 of Anything is Possible, when a friend of mine comes to visit, and is introduced to our beautiful friends. . . . .

Sending you lots of love, hugs and light,

“Whatever the mind can conceive and believe, the mind can achieve.”

– Napoleon Hill –

At the moment I am studying the Silva Method, which I am absolutely loving, so wanted to share that with you. It’s a programme that not only helps you to better meditate, but also to have a positive control over your mind and be able to manifest anything you desire. Helping you to make the seemingly impossible, possible. It is one of the most powerful and enjoyable trainings I have done so far in my life and I cannot recommend it highly enough to anyone wanting to raise their consciousness.

Plus there is a fantastic centering meditation exercise that you can download for free from their website, and there is a great app which includes this meditation and others that you can also download for free. This has been created by the lovely people at MindValley.

So, a continuation of the story from yesterday and some more examples of the power of manifesting.

My sister, Nicola and her husband John came to visit Darren and I a couple of weeks ago in Manly, Sydney and we all went up to the Blue Mountains for the weekend. On the first day that we arrived the weather was terrible. It was raining, cold, wet and windy. Did it stop us from going out and enjoying the Blue Mountains? Heck no. Did we decide that before we left, the weather would clear up, so that they could get some beautiful photos of the Blue Mountains? Yes we did. Did that happen? Yes it did. Now some people could say, oh, that’s just a coincidence. But, there are no coincidences. Everything happens for a reason and quite deliberately. And, knowing what I know about the power of intention and manifesting. I am certain, that collectively, we created for the sun to shine, and the clouds to clear so they could take some beautiful photos of the Three Sisters.

What was especially magical, was that as the weather cleared, there was the most beautiful rainbow that appeared, as if projected through the clouds at the base of the Three Sisters. And you can see this in the image at the top of the blog post today.

At the time, I joked that it almost looked like a super hero calling for someone who can make magic happen. Kind of like how when people need Batman, they project a bat into the sky. This time it was a rainbow being projected through the clouds. Which also reminded me of the logo for my business, Thought Cloud.

Yesterday, I also mentioned that I’d tell you about the intention Darren and I set a few weeks ago with the cockatoos who visit our balcony regularly from the nearby trees.

A few months ago, not long after we moved in, we started to feed the Cocky’s with some left over organic nuts that I had. They loved them, and each week, more Cocky’s would find out and would come to visit. First of all there was one (the original Cocky), then he’d bring his friends, a couple more each week.

At one point we had 7 visitors, a few weeks later 11, a few weeks later 14. More and more.  They were becoming our friends, our pets in a sense, but pets that were free to roam and come and go as they please.

A month or so ago I set the intention to have one fly on to my arm and eat from my hand. A pretty brave intention considering that they are quite big birds, and wild too. How do you train a wild bird to come and sit on your arm?

Well, the answer is, I decided. I also decided that any nervousness from the bird, was just a reflection of my nervousness. And on the day that I decided to invite Cocky on to my arm, I put a leather glove on my hand, just in case he pecked my finger by mistake, instead of the nut (this happens from time to time). And invited Cocky on to my arm. It took a little while. He walked up and down the railing on our balcony, and then flew on to my arm and ate the nut out of my hand. It was such a fantastic feeling knowing that a wild bird felt comfortable enough to sit on my arm.

More importantly, it proved that I could manifest something so fantastic.

So, the question for today is, what would you like to set the intention to achieve in life. It could be something big or small? Because, whatever the mind can conceive and believe, the mind can achieve. Anything is possible.

Tune in tomorrow to learn what happened next when Darren and I set other intentions around making an even better friendship with the Cocky’s.

Sending you lots of love, hugs and light,
